Rowing Camps in Ohio

Ready Set Row is Marietta College's summer rowing camp program operated out of the campus boathouse on the Muskingum River. Two sessions offered: a longer development camp (June 13–July 10) and an elite/intensive session (July 19–24). Instruction covers physical fitness, technical rowing proficiency, and mental fortitude. Marietta College has one of the strongest rowing programs in NCAA Division III. Notable resource for a sport with very limited camp availability in Southeast Ohio.

Four-week Session 1 of the Queen City Rowing Club summer camp on the Little Miami and Ohio Rivers. Monday-Friday 9:00-11:00 AM. Open to 6th grade and up, no experience required. One of the top sculling programs in the Midwest. Part of Queen City Watersports Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Three-week Session 2 of the Queen City Rowing Club summer camp. Monday-Friday 9:00-11:00 AM on the Little Miami and Ohio Rivers. Open to 6th grade and up, no experience required.

Four one-week sessions of introductory rowing camp for boys and girls ages 12-16. Each session runs Monday-Saturday. Includes rowing stroke instruction, equipment handling, team bonding, and a race day on Saturday for parents to watch. Multiple weeks available for continued progression. CJRC is a competitive club that qualifies boats to USA Nationals.

Four-day Ohio State Rowing High Performance Camp for female high school athletes (grades 9-12 in fall 2026). Includes on-water and on-land instruction from Ohio State coaching staff. Registration at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Maximum camper count — register early.
